BOOM!
The sudden roar was reminiscent of an explosion.
BOOM!
A member of Morning Dew, struck by Khal’s fiercely swung fist, tumbled across the ground.
“Get him!”
Even amidst the chaos, the members of Morning Dew rushed in aggressively, attempting to leverage their superior numbers.
Thud!
BOOM!
Khal threw a fallen member back toward the approaching crowd before leaping away.
Whoosh!
At that moment, a fireball materialized out of nowhere from his left.
One of the members, strategically positioned, attempted to snipe Khal using a magic ring. However, Khal raised the Trigger Bracelet on his left arm and activated his Trigger.
BOOM!
Once again, red mana rippled outward as Mana Break occurred, instantly shattering the fireball’s magic circle.
“This is impossible!”
The Morning Dew member who cast the spell gasped in disbelief.
Khal kicked a stone up from the ground, caught it mid-air, and then—
Swish!
He hurled it toward another member stationed on a rooftop.
CRACK!
It was just a stone, and yet…
“AAAAAAAGH!”
The man screamed, clutching his side where a large, jagged wound had been ripped open.
Having secured a moment to breathe, Khal pulled out the catalyst Trigger Bracelets from his pocket and slid them onto both wrists.
The bracelets immediately began to fill with crimson mana.
Trigger: a technique that awakens mana characteristics by releasing stored mana all at once.
The act of gathering mana during this process is known as ‘loading.’
An ordinary person would never have been able to load mana in such a way.
