While I was lost in thought, three more men joined them.
The one they called Hyung-nim seemed to be The Boss.
The group of men chatted carelessly and smoked cigarettes.
I didn’t know how much longer they’d stay at the Supermarket, but with them letting their guard down, I had to choose: escape or launch an Attack.
Just then, I noticed a space behind a pillar near the entrance.
They were gathered in the alley across from the building I was in.
If I went around the pillar, I might be able to flank them without entering their line of sight.
“Hyung-nim, I’m here.”
“Hey. Come over here. You big lug, why are you crawling into such a tight spot?”
I quietly slipped out and hid behind the pillar, but I was caught instantly.
‘How the hell did they know?’
Anyway, was it strange to feel like I was losing face in this situation?
For now, I stayed put behind the pillar, trying to stall for time.

I set down my Backpack and only grabbed my weapon.
