Chapter 104. Relocation
I had been squatting behind the narrow counter for a long time, and I was already exhausted.
The small figure that appeared behind the Giant Zombie filled me with intense frustration.
Its target was my precious Double Bag Cart.
*Rustle, rustle.*
The dwarf-like creature cautiously glanced at the Giant Zombie, then began to untie the Binding Rope.
I had been hoping for a “happy circuit” scenario where another monster would appear, they’d fight, and both would be annihilated…
But I couldn’t just let myself be robbed like this.
Clutching my Baseball Bat, I rose from behind the counter.
*Clang!*
*Grrrrowl!*
The moment I stood up, something clattered loudly onto the Asphalt Ground.
Hearing the noise, the Giant Zombie let out a ragged breath and turned towards the small figure.
*KWOOOOAAARGH!*
Upon spotting the small figure, the Giant Zombie roared and charged.
Its enormous body, just by moving, contained a massive amount of kinetic energy.
Even a graze would probably be fatal for that tiny thing.
‘What the? Why is it so slow?’
I’d seen it move slowly before, but I hadn’t realized it was *that* slow.
The small figure saw the monster charging at it, flinched for a moment, then frantically began to untie the tightly secured opening of the Double Bag.
A small hand briefly emerged from beneath its cloak, grabbing a single can of food.
“Damn it, you bastard.”
The thief hastily vanished into the alleyway.
The Giant Zombie, too, slowly but, in its own estimation, quickly disappeared, chasing after the small creature.
