Chapter 55. Preparation
“So, when you use your Ability, you can understand even unseen structures, and instead of just disabling a Door Lock’s electronic system, you completely disassemble components like the lock assembly or the latch, right?”
“Yes, that’s correct. With that method, I can open electronic door locks, handles, and even Safety Latches. The only thing is, once I disassemble something, I can’t reassemble it using my Ability.”
“So you know exactly which parts to disassemble to disable a lock. Did you study that specifically?”
“Not really. I knew some things beforehand, but mostly, I just get a feel for it after a few tries. Plus, my Ability helps me identify the weak points of whatever structure I need to disassemble.”
“Wow… So, if you have enough time, you could disassemble anything?”
“Not quite. I used to think that even complex, large objects could be disassembled bit by bit. So I tried to take apart a car on the street, but I couldn’t even loosen a single small bolt. I think my Ability needs to grow stronger for that.”
Curiosity piqued by her fascinating Ability, I continued our conversation with Eunmi in the Living Room. Meanwhile, Seonyoung and Gayoung were tidying up the house with the other women and preparing lunch.
Among the three men tied up outside, Charger’s Ability, the Healer’s here, and Eunmi’s Ability were all incredibly tempting. The more capable individuals in a raid group, the greater the help in surviving this world, and that thought sparked a desire to recruit them.
