Chapter 345. Settlement
“What if the kids catch a cold?”
Her tone was low, her expression gentle. Seonyoung wasn’t angry. Definitely not.
“Well… if things get bad, Mina has her Ability, right?”
“Oh my? Taesik. My Ability isn’t a panacea.”
“Right… Hmm… but it’s practically a panacea, isn’t it?”
Seonyoung and Mina narrowed their eyes.
‘Oh, I guess not,’ I mumbled softly, averting my gaze.
When Seonyoung and I were alone, she had a cute charm. Perhaps with more younger ones around, she seems to want to show only her more mature and responsible side.
‘She’s changed.’
Most of the snow-clearing members were in their early twenties, except for Sora and me. And we returned looking like drowned rats. Though, to be precise, we were drenched in snow.
I looked around at the group, who were standing by the Wood-Burning Stove, glancing my way. Just then, I met Sora’s eyes as she turned to look at me.
‘Help me.’
Had the cry of my heart reached her? Sora smiled and turned completely away.
“Ahhh… so warm.”
Right. I guess I should dry the other side too. That bad bitch couldn’t possibly have missed my plea for help.
“Sigh… they say men are all just big kids, no matter how old they get.”
“Hehe. It looks like the kids are all dry now. Shall we get ready for breakfast?”
“Yes, Unnie. Oppa, you should put something on too.”
Fortunately, Seonyoung wasn’t the type to nag for long. She had never gotten angry or scolded me directly. Still, the message had been clearly delivered. Suddenly, I felt ashamed, like an overgrown child who had been playing around carelessly, not acting my age. It was even more so because the rest of the group was quietly preparing breakfast.
