Chapter 297. Pursuit
How should I describe this feeling right now?
Is it similar to the satisfaction you get when your cherished, appearance-focused character, whom you’ve diligently raised, unexpectedly pulls more than their own weight?
Or perhaps the thrill of a Coin you casually bought and forgot about suddenly skyrocketing in value?
‘No… it’s hard to forget about Coins.’
Anyway, it’s something like that.
Because Seonyoung had suddenly appeared in Soyoung’s painting.
“Whoa… what is this?”
“This is my first time seeing something like this too.”
“When did you start drawing this?”
Nine paintings were tacked onto one wall of the room where the group was staying. Three rows, with three paintings in each. Each painting connected to the next, forming one large, complete image.
“It hasn’t been a week yet, has it?”
“Seonyoung…”
“Yes?”
“That woman in the middle. That’s Seonyoung.”
“What?!”
Soyoung whipped her head around to face me, screaming so loudly I worried her neck might snap. Her high-pitched shriek made the others stop what they were doing and turn to look at us.
“No… Oppa. This woman? Is she really Unnie Seonyoung?”
“Yeah.”
“But only the back of her head is showing?”
“It’s Seonyoung, alright. I’m sure of it.”
Even with just the back of her head visible, I was certain. Even in a painting, I could tell. Her short hair and that familiar silhouette. The Windbreaker we wore as a couple. Even the Baseball Bat in her hand.
