It was nearing dusk.
Finally, they had found traces left by a large group of humans. This was the result of everyone in the group toiling and sweating profusely in the scorching Heat.
“There aren’t many Raid Members, are there?”
“No.”
“This doesn’t look like the traces a few people would leave.”
Behind the Apartment, they discovered trash discarded by people. The condition of the trash suggested it hadn’t been left there too long ago. Still, just in case, they meticulously searched the surrounding area.

The linear mark etched into the Rooftop Railing pointed towards the Back mountain. This made everyone somewhat fixated on finding clues in the mountain. As a result, they managed to uncover traces they might have otherwise overlooked.
“It leads this way?”
“Let’s go.”
The trash itself was nothing special. Just used tissues, Energy Bar wrappers, and even some Wet Wipes packaging. They checked the Expiration dates on these items and confirmed they were relatively recent.
Another type of trace they found was cut branches. The Back mountain behind the Apartment was an area people didn’t usually enter. Naturally, there were no paths for human passage, and the vegetation was quite dense for a Back mountain. They found evidence of a path being cleared, with branches cut away by a Bladed weapon.
The branches, at an average adult’s eye level, were cut with a considerable width. If Seonyoung’s Group had made this path while moving, there would have been no reason to clear such a wide route. Therefore, the traces they found were likely left by a fairly large group of people.
