Chapter 294. Pursuit
I was leading the group up to the rooftop.
The Apartment Rooftop was a space we used frequently.
‘I’ll go check… but still, *sigh*.’
Somehow, it felt more likely that there wouldn’t be any traces on the rooftop either. With the Raid Group’s numbers significantly reduced, maintaining a night watch must have been difficult.
On top of that, there had been an Attack by Monstrous Birds. Just as I had prohibited access to the rooftop after the Bird Swarm’s Attack while living with the Ark Annihilation Alliance members, it was highly probable that Seonyoung’s Group had also abandoned the rooftop.
Still, I climbed the Stairs, hoping to find even the smallest clue.

We found traces. The Stairs leading to the rooftop door were a mess. And the rooftop door was also broken.
The structures that should have been protruding above the rooftop had completely lost their shape, collapsing inwards. The Iron Door lay neatly cut in half, and small debris from the collapsed structures was scattered haphazardly around.

As we emerged onto the rooftop, a harsh wind blew.
