Chapter 174. Monsoon
The day was dark, even though it was time for the sun to rise.
I looked up to see a gray sky stretching above.
Rain clouds.
“All done.”
“Alright. Let’s go.”
Euna, who had already checked everything for the third time, opened the Entrance Door and stepped out.
It seemed she had grown attached to the house. She checked multiple times to make sure the door was securely locked.
“It… looks like it’s going to rain?”
“Indeed. It doesn’t look good.”
“Your Raincoat?”
“Here. I’ve tied it up.”
*Thump, thump.*
I nudged the A-frame carrier standing beside me.
I wasn’t sure if I could still call it an A-frame carrier. While the basic framework was that of an A-frame carrier, it was too much to simply call it that.
The main materials for the A-frame carrier were aluminum and stainless steel, which we’d acquired in large quantities from a big Hardware store on the main road. Euna had painstakingly reinforced every material, and after much trial and error, she had completed its current form.
As a result, something relatively light, incredibly sturdy, and immensely practical had been born.
We loaded all our belongings onto this Modified A-frame carrier, using it in place of a handcart.
“Where’s Shushu?”
“Schneider will find his own way. *Grunt of effort.*”
I put on the thick shoulder straps of the Modified A-frame carrier and stood up. There was so much luggage that the load was taller than my head.
