I tormented Euna until dawn before finally falling asleep. When I opened my eyes again, lunchtime had already passed.
“Euna. Euna.”
“Hing… No. I don’t like it. Stop it. Please…”
“What’s wrong with her? Wake up.”
I woke up the whining Euna, and we quickly ate a meal. Checking my shoulder, it felt much better than yesterday.
“Where in the world did Schneider go?”
“Woong? Why?”
“I need to check his butt.”
The rascal seemed to be roaming outside despite his injuries. What could be so urgent for him? I had told him not to wander off for a while, but it was useless.
“Oh, right! Damn it.”
“Ah, you startled me. What now?”
“That marten’s corpse. Haah… I wonder if it’s already rotten?”
I quickly cleaned up after our meal and rushed to the Storage Room. My original plan was to wake up early and butcher it at dawn. In truth, it would have been best to process it yesterday, given how quickly things rot. But my injury was severe, and I’d put it off for a day out of sheer laziness, a decision I now regretted. The thought struck me that, having spent the entire night having Sex with Euna and then oversleeping, I might not be able to salvage any by-products.

“Ugh. The smell…”
“Indeed. The stench is still strong. I wonder if it was a mistake to put it in the Storage Room.”
I’d put it in the Storage Room initially, fearing it might attract wild animals. Now, it seemed the smell might linger in the Storage Room for quite some time.
