Chapter 171. Dambi
“Aaaaargh!”
I screamed at the top of my lungs, not caring about any dangers around me. I trusted Schneider, and I needed to pull out the teeth of this marten-like animal as quickly as possible. I was worried that my body’s regeneration was too good, and the wound might heal with its teeth still embedded.
“Whine. Whine. Purrrr.”
Schneider paced anxiously beside me. Then, as if annoyed, it delivered a Nyang Nyang Punch to the corpse still biting my shoulder.
“Ugh… Schneider. Stay still.”
The corpse shook, and another wave of intense pain hit me. After a long struggle, I finally managed to pry open the corpse’s maw.
“Damn… Why is there so much blood gushing out?”
*Lick, lick*
“Crazy cat. Get away. Ow, it stings.”
Schneider licked my bleeding, punctured shoulder. Its tongue was so rough it felt like a burn. I almost hit Schneider by mistake.
“Ugh… *Gasp*.”
In a hurry, I unbuckled my belt and tightly bound the upper part of my punctured shoulder. I pulled a Hemostatic Agent from my Crossbody Bag, tore it open with my teeth, and sprinkled it on the wound. After these emergency measures, my bare upper body was stained with blood and sweat.
“Ugh… I’m sticky. Schneider.”
“Meow!”
“Let’s go down. I need to rest. It’s over, right?”
“Meow. Meow!”
Confirming there were no more enemies, I stood up. No matter how carefully I moved, my unbraced arm swayed slightly, and each time, I felt intense pain. Still, it was a huge relief that while I couldn’t use my left hand at all earlier, now my fingers could move.
