Chapter 167. Preparation
I’d been busy these past two days.
I scoured every corner of Sangcheon-ri, taking down over 50 Zombies. Surprisingly, there were quite a few Zombies hidden throughout the rural village.
I also sorted out our food supplies. Euna and I had enough provisions for about two weeks. Carrying all of it would be a problem, but Euna was in the process of making an A-frame carrier, so I figured we’d manage somehow. The remaining food, I planned to deliver to the Elders tomorrow.
“All done?”
“Mhm.”
“Let’s go then.”
Euna emerged into the yard, clad in the Armor she’d just finished crafting. Her appearance was no different from when I first met her. With the Raincoat covering her figure, she looked every bit the Kid she was.
But underneath, she wore a type of Leather Armor made from processed snake skin. This snake skin armor had truly taken a lot of effort. At first, the well-dried snake skin was limp and flimsy. Even in that state, it was tough enough that a Kitchen Knife couldn’t pierce it. Euna then used her Ability to reinforce the already tough snake skin. This was the first step: reinforcing the material itself.
‘It was incredible…’
Next, Euna put on stockings, completely naked. She pulled the Pantyhose up to her waist, then inverted another pair of stockings, which had a hole in the groin area, and put them on her head. As a result, she was covered in stockings from head to toe, except for her face and hands. The image of Euna back then was still vividly etched in my mind.
