Chapter 159. Purpose
I chose to flee.
I lowered my body, vanished from their sight, and circled around to the back of Sangcheon Station.
Kwaaaak!
“Ugh. Fuck…”
“This bastard got bitten.”
As I ran, I heard a commotion from Downtown.
It seemed the Tattooed Woman had been controlling the Zombies. Now that she was dead, the uncontrolled Zombies were running wild.
“Die, you bastard!”
Whoosh, Bang!
“Fuck. You startled me.”
As I ran, a Fireball flew at my back again. It wasn’t particularly fast, so I quickly jumped aside, dodging the attack, and scanned my surroundings.
Only two of them had chased me, even with their Main Base in chaos from the Zombies.
“Huh? Behind you?”
“What kind of trickery is this?”
I thought it was a brilliant deception, but it didn’t work. Still, it didn’t matter. Thanks to them chasing me without stopping, the distance had closed enough.
Whoosh, Thwack!
I easily subdued the two thoughtless fools who had chased me and started running again.
After circling behind Sangcheon Station, this time I headed towards the Choguljae Village Entrance. I hid behind a rock at the village entrance and observed the situation in Downtown.
“Cough. You ungrateful bastard.”
“Ungrateful for what? You lowlife thug.”
The situation in Downtown was a complete mess. Some of them were wary of my disappearance, hiding behind obstacles and shadow boxing. A few were trying to subdue the rampaging Zombies.
Amidst the chaos, the Tattooed Man was being grabbed by the collar by one of his subordinates. I thought I had smashed the back of his head with a Stone Throwing, but it seemed he was still alive. Though, he looked like he was about to die soon.
