Chapter 163
Squelch-.
The floor was slimy and sticky due to the magic Herteias had used.
It took several more steps before they could escape the damp ground.
“Ah, Golem Armor… I will learn that spell, the one that lets me fly, no matter what.”
Dojae regretted deactivating the golem armor.
His shoes, and even his pants, were caked in mud as he grumbled.
Beside him, Herteias floated in midair, gliding leisurely through the air.
“This? Since I taught it to your golem, ask him. Phew-huh-huh. That golem is far superior to you when it comes to magic.”
“Khm…”
Dojae felt strangely deprived.
Hearing that he was inferior to an inanimate object he had created himself felt strange.
“How many did you teach Magol?”
“About 500? It just figured things out on its own after I showed it.”
Five hundred.
Dojae knew fewer than fifty spells he could actually use as skills.
Yet Magol had learned ten times that amount through Herteias in just a few hours.
“Haha… Now he’s finally worthy of being called a magic golem…”
“Well, his master is a dragon, after all!”
“Master? He only showed me the way. It’s all thanks to my golem’s brilliance.”
“Hmph, how many mages do you think can wield 500 spells?”
“Probably quite a few? Dragons can all use as many as you, right?”
Just the rare dragons I read about in books numbered at least thirty.
That’s just the number known to the human world, meaning at least that many dragons exist.
