The other two men offered no reply to the Sword Demon’s remark. The Mad Demon was a man who only spoke his mind, and the Demon King Suramaze remained dissatisfied with the very fact that three Demon Kings had gone to kill Baek Moo-jin.

Their attire wasn’t particularly conspicuous even in Nanju. There were simply so many foreigners and such a variety of clothing styles.
The Sword Demon knew exactly what the two were thinking, yet he never once made an effort to ease their minds.
Suramaje spoke up after a long silence.
“In any case, let’s kill Baek Moo-jin immediately. No need to capture him.”
“The order was to bring him back.”
Suramaje tilted her head at those words and said.
“So you want us to spare him and put him above us?”
Gemma laughed and said.
“Why would you think above us?”
“Is there any reason someone who faced all three of us at once should be beneath us?”
Kwangma opened his mouth.
“Aren’t you both just crazy?”
The Sword Demon and the Water Demon stared at the Mad Demon. Their expressions seemed to ask, What the hell is this lunatic trying to say?
The Mad Demon continued.
“When facing a strong opponent, can you really decide whether to spare or kill them? If you gave it your all and they still have life left, then you can take them then. It’s not worth fighting over.”
