Chapter 559
[You have accepted the quest.]
“Thank you. I know your abilities, but be careful.”
After accepting the quest, Viscount Hadle said.
“And as payment for the information…”
Blue Wave focused intently on the marquis’s words. How much would the reward be?
“I’ll grant you the title of Viscount.”
“…?”
Hearing the price, Blue Wave couldn’t help but be puzzled.
‘What the hell? The quest reward is a viscountcy.’
The quest reward is the title of Viscount. But the price for selling information is the title of Viscount?
“I shall inform His Majesty of the baron title immediately. And as soon as you bring this information, I shall ensure you receive the viscount title.”
‘Could it be that the rewards combined to make it a Viscount?’
It seemed the quest reward and the payment for selling information had combined to become the Viscount title. After all, one couldn’t become a Viscount just by bringing information. The Kingdom of Alion had many talented individuals besides the adventurer who could procure information.
Rather, the fact that one could receive a viscount title for gathering information meant that Marquis Hadle was pushing incredibly hard behind the scenes.
‘I was hoping to make some gold…’
But it was disappointing. Currently, Paranmanjang had many places to spend gold and was spending it freely. He had hoped this opportunity might let him save some cash, but unfortunately, that wasn’t going to happen.
