Chapter 110: Dang Yeo-eun-1
Two days later, I left the Biyongshisandae once more to take a leave of absence.
And this time, with Lady Dang Yeo-eun.
Of course, due to the surrounding eyes, we couldn’t leave the Thirteenth Division together from the start.
So early in the morning, after Lady Dang Yeo-eun departed first, I too left the front lines about half an hour later.
And shortly after meeting up on the outskirts of Yunnan Province, we finally realized we were traveling alone together.
“Dang Yeo-eun!”
I landed beside her, calling her name warmly, but suddenly looked around and saw no one else.
Deep in the forest, it was just her and me, only the two of us.
‘Huh?’
As I frantically scanned my surroundings, my throat suddenly went dry.
Gulp!
And suddenly, a wave of awkwardness began to wash over me.
‘What the hell? Why this all of a sudden?’
I was flustered.
I couldn’t think of what to say.
My mind suddenly went completely blank.
And when I glanced at her, I could tell this wasn’t just my problem.
She, too, couldn’t meet my eyes, her anxious gaze darting around restlessly.
It was incredibly awkward.
I felt like I should say something, but nothing came to mind.
So, desperately racking my brain, I managed to come up with just one word.
“Um, Dang Yeo-eun, you must have… waited a long time?”
She hastily waved her hand and replied.
“No! You came much earlier than I expected.”
“Ah, that’s a relief.”
Then silence hung heavy once more.
