Chapter 177
Immediately after the Rogaha Alliance was signed,
Khal proceeded with a military council without delay.
This was because the forces of Sanctuarium were moving tirelessly to reclaim the Holy Land.
“It has been a while since we all met like this.”
Khal greeted them, glancing at the faces of Eric Durant, Verde, and Delphina Aconite one by one.
“It’s a shame we’re meeting under these circumstances, but I’m glad to see you all look well,” Delphina replied first.
“It’s been a long time.”
Verde nodded.
Eric and Verde also gave stiff greetings. Although they had been close friends during their days at the Partes Academy, the current situation demanded they maintain professional boundaries.
“Let’s begin the meeting.”
Khal led the meeting without showing much emotion, causing Delphina to look slightly hurt.
‘That is just like him, though,’ Verde and Eric thought as they focused on the meeting, already used to his mannerisms.

The first verse of the Covenant Ark, which is considered the scripture of Sanctuarium, begins as follows:
—The remains of the Great Giant were torn asunder, and from its husk, the earth and heavens were fashioned… The birth of all things began from the giant’s flesh.
—However, the unstable heavens threatened to collapse at any moment, and the laments of ghosts seeped from the earth.
—The Creator, Leabraham, planted a tree to bring prosperity and balance.
—The name of the tree was Sefirot. Sefirot gave birth to new races and flourished.
(Omitted)
—Distrust toward God sprouted among the races of the Middle Realm, and they began to worship beings from the Celestial and Demon Realms.
