After checking the letter Hwajung left, I returned to the Department Store 9th floor.
Everyone was waiting for us, having finished their preparations to depart.
“The drawing?”
“Here it is… Hehehe.”
Soyoung showed me the drawing she’d created with her Ability, chuckling softly.
“Huh? What’s this?”
“Isn’t it cute?”
“Oh, seriously… Hehehe. You’ve got a good sense of humor.”
The subject of the drawing was Chaeyoung, the leader of the 9th floor women.
She was a human billboard. She had somehow acquired a Whiteboard and hung it on her back with a rope. Something was written on the Whiteboard in large, black letters.
“National Road 6, Yangha-dong 21-3?”
“Looks like they wrote down their location, right?”
“Yeah, it does. They must have written it for us to see.”
I unfolded the Map book and checked Chaeyoung’s location. It was a spot almost entirely out of Guri City.
“Let’s leave immediately. I wonder if we can catch up.”
I had no idea what the movement speed of the 9th floor women was like. Since their goal was to get out of the city, they’d probably be moving diligently for a while.
Still, seeing them in the drawing reassured me a little. At least it meant they were still moving around fine.
But that was only because they’d been lucky so far. If they encountered even one powerful Mutated Animal, I couldn’t guarantee their lives. I had pushed my possession onto the 9th floor women for a few days in the past, but their Combat Power was far inferior to my group’s.
‘It would be best to join them as quickly as possible… but I can’t just run ahead alone.’
