Chapter 330. Blessing
Seonyoung repeated herself.
“I’m pregnant. I’ve used a pregnancy test kit a few times, and it’s been a while since my last Period.”
The word “Pregnancy” seemed to freeze my mind.
Pregnant?
What did Pregnancy even mean?
Did it mean a Semen had successfully met an egg cell and merged?
“Pregnant… Pregnant. Pregnant?”
“Yes. We’re having a baby. Your baby, Oppa.”
Unconsciously, I found myself staring at Seonyoung’s abdomen.
Though hidden by her thin pajamas, I stared as if I could somehow see something if I looked hard enough.
“Haaah… Oppa.”
Then, at Seonyoung’s voice, I suddenly looked up.
I had only thought her expression was stiff and her tone serious.
But that wasn’t it.
Seonyoung was worried.
No, she was afraid.
‘What on earth is she afraid of?’
Meeting her gaze, I suddenly felt pathetic.
This wasn’t the time to question Seonyoung’s feelings or what she feared.
“Seonyoung. Let me hold you.”
I sat close to her.
Slowly, and very carefully, I wrapped my arms around Seonyoung’s shoulders.
Everything must be terrifying.
Pregnancy in a world like this.
In many ways, it was a situation where neither life could be guaranteed.
Both the expectant mother and the Fetus.
Along with those immediate worries, a host of other concerns flooded my mind.
Even a small Cough would become a source of anxiety.
Later, even moving her body would become difficult.
