Chapter 319. Happy
Inside the dimly lit room.
For an ordinary person, only the blurry outlines of objects would be visible.
But I could clearly see even the faint trembling of Elena’s shoulders.
My grip on the Baseball Bat was much tighter than usual.
“Oppa.”
“I told you not to follow me.”
“Let’s talk for a moment.”
I knew Seonyoung had come out of the next room.
Huuu.
“Elena-ssi, I’m sorry.”
“Hmm… a good sign? Or… a little more life?”
Elena replied in a composed tone to Seonyoung’s apology.
Even though she had been trembling so much just moments ago.
*How old is this woman, anyway?*
“Oppa. Please.”
“Alright. Let’s go out.”
I followed Seonyoung out into the Corridor.
She leaned against the window at the end of the Corridor, where the Shower Room was located.
“Do you remember before? On our first day. You got caught trying to peek at me showering.”
“Oh, come on. I told you it wasn’t like that! I was just worried and wanted to check on you.”
“Pffft. I’m just kidding. You know, you’re not that kind of person, Oppa.”
On the first day of the Zombie Apocalypse.
I remembered worrying when Seonyoung, who had been shivering from the cold, went to shower first and didn’t come out for a long time.
It was an embarrassing moment when I happened to stand in front of the Shower Room door just as she was opening it to come out.
“Why didn’t you kill me back then? I felt like nothing but a burden.”
“What are you talking about?”
“Right? We weren’t anything special. Just Company colleagues, not exactly people you could trust implicitly.”
