We returned to the Villa where the group was staying.
After dropping Mina off, I went back and forth to the Apartment alone, gathering alcohol and snacks.
I felt grateful to the unnamed alcoholic.

“Why did you come out?”
“Oh, just because~ I finished my Painting and came out to see what you were doing.”
Soyoung held out a Painting.
It wasn’t Seonyoung this time either.
The background depicted a signboard with Japanese written on it.
“Looks like it’s similar to our side here too.”
“Right? I wonder if a Typhoon passed through… Oh! Since it’s Japan, maybe an earthquake?”
The Painting showed a Woman sitting dejectedly in a ruined street.
The Woman seemed to have an injury on her leg.
It was clearly a regrettable situation, but neither Soyoung nor I felt much emotion.
Partly because our Emotions had dulled to the pitiful situations of others, and partly because we saw it through a Painting, it felt less real.
“What about the others? What are they doing?”
“Unnie went inside to use her Ability, and Euna is Enchanting too. She said she couldn’t do it this morning because of all the walking.”
Siyoung was preparing my lunch.
Somehow, I ended up eating breakfast and lunch separately from the group.
In the morning, I drank Mina’s breast milk, and at lunch, the others drank breast milk.
“But it’s clear you’ve accumulated Essence.”
