Chapter 149. Chogul
“Welcome back.”
“Yeah. There was alcohol over there.”
“Oh… you brought back quite a lot. But what were you talking about for so long?”
Hyeji’s eyes lit up at the sight of the alcohol. Euna, on the other hand, seemed uninterested.
As they walked, I told them why it had taken so long.
“No way… really? Then isn’t our house too dangerous?”
“Since he said there are many wild animals, it’s definitely dangerous. But do you know about an animal called a marten?”
“I’ve only heard the name, I guess? I don’t really know what kind of animal it is…”
“According to that Mister, martins are the top predators in our country. I only learned today that such animals live in our mountains.”

I was telling Euna and Hyeji the story the Jindo Dog Owner had shared about martins when we arrived at the Health Center Building.
“Go ahead and pack up the Looted Supplies. I’ll go up and get the mattress.”
“Okay. Do you need any help?”
“Nah. I can manage alone.”
I stopped by the Health Center to retrieve the Looted Supplies and the mattress. I rolled the mattress up with sheer strength and tied it with a Rope. It was a bit disappointing that it was only a single size, but at least Hyeji’s sleeping arrangements would be much more comfortable now.
“Let’s go.”
“Yes. I hope we run into some chickens on the way back today too.”
“Right? If we could catch them alive, we’d get eggs every day, which would be great. The chicken we caught yesterday… the eggs inside it were huge.”
