Chapter 89
Whoosh-!
Dojae, who had been lost in the moment, snapped back to reality at the sudden heat.
‘Where am I?’
He had been feeling all cozy and warm in Haydn’s embrace when suddenly he was transported to a place engulfed in flames on all sides.
Dojae immediately cast his golem armor against the surging flames.
This slightly eased the burning sensation, but it still felt like stepping into a sauna, and sweat began pouring down his face.
– That place is my space.
Then Haydn’s voice came through.
Judging by how it was transmitted directly into his mind, he was definitely not here.
Dojae realized the test had begun.
“Must I survive the flames?”
Dojae shouted into the void.
Then Haydn’s reply came.
– We become blazing flames within the fire and storms within the wind. If you wish to gain a solid outer shell, endure without ceasing, push forward, and break through all adversity.
“Where should I go?”
Hayden’s voice was no longer audible.
Dojae gazed into the raging flames that swept wildly like a storm.
And he could make out a single narrow path stretching endlessly into the distance.
‘I was going to raise my resistance anyway, so this works out perfectly. Might as well push it all the way to 100%.’
Wearing the Golem Armor and holding out would gradually build his resistance, allowing him to clear it without trouble.
But Dojae’s plans were brutally shattered by Altein.
– The Golem Armor will be sealed during the trial. It’s punishment for using tricks during the trial Ella Tra imposed. Heh heh heh.
