Chapter 354: Rescue (2)
The Nine Dragons Fortress delegation fled southeast, evading the Lion Clan’s pursuit.
The relentless pursuit and escape lasted seven days and nights without cease.
It was a relentless pursuit where capture and death would have been no surprise, yet the envoy led by the Qinglong Sect Master succeeded in fleeing all the way to Huangshan in eastern Anhui Province.
‘If we can just go another five hundred li, they won’t be able to follow us any further.’
Whoosh!
Just then, the mountain burst into tears as the downpour poured down.
The rustling of leaves and the whisper of grass masked the sound of footsteps, while the torrential rain washed away the scent.
The Blue Dragon Sect Leader, carrying a heavy load on his back, turned around and said.
“Pick up the pace.”
Thump, thump, thump.
Dozens of people followed him up the mountain.
Had they climbed the mountain for about an hour?
“Here!”
At the sudden appearance of the enemy, the Blue Dragon Sect Leader’s sword moved like lightning.
Thwack!
A head instantly flew into the air.
Behind it, the disciples of the Blue Dragon Sect charged forward.
Thwack! Thwack!
True to their reputation as the foremost masters of the Blue Dragon Hall, they sliced through the enemy’s bodies with the Qingfeng Sword Technique, now perfected to its peak.
“We will never let them pass!”
The five masters of the Black Dragon Sect, backing them up, unleashed their sect’s Eighteen-Sword Technique.
