Chapter 484
2nd Apostle, Jack Smith
It was raining.
The cheers of the Demons on the streets grew even louder.
The parched city beginning to moisten meant that the inauguration ceremony was nearing its end.
It also meant that the city, which had been abnormal for a while, was returning to normal.
“Aaaah!”
“The 2nd Apostle is coming!”
“Declare the resurrection of the new 2nd Apostle!”
“Jack Smith!”
Splashing through the puddles, the Demons raised their glasses.
Soon, they gulped down the rain that filled their glasses.
They had served Agares for countless years.
It would take a lot of time to erase the master who had become a belief in their hearts.
That was why the inauguration ceremony was scheduled to be so long.
The people of the former Agares were putting aside all their work and enjoying the festival, engraving the name of Jack Smith in their hearts.
And.
Kugugugugu……!
An enormous energy began to surge from a black mass within the palace.
The power was so strong that the entire city shook.
“Ah, he has finally mastered that power.”
Baal, who was watching, nodded silently.
He had been slightly dismissive, as Jack was the weakest among the High-Ranking Demon Lords.
“I must admit it now.”
Not just anyone can control the power of a Demon God.
Even Valefor, the 1st Legion Commander of Baal, was a strong Demon, but what if he were to receive the power of an Apostle?
The inauguration ceremony could fail.
In other words, it doesn’t matter who the subject of the inauguration ceremony is.
Even if a mere ant were to ascend to the inauguration ceremony, it would be enough as long as it could receive the power of the Demon God.
