Chapter 249
2024, World Ranker Announcement Ceremony (1)
Alright, alright! Is everyone ready to welcome the New Year? In exactly 30 minutes! The Eastern bulletin board will be massively reset once again!
Uwaaa! How can we not be excited! Can you hear it now?
Huh? Hear what?
Thump-thump! My heartbeat, that’s what! Hahaha! I wonder, which hunter will surprise us this time?!
Originally.
The New Year’s Eve events in each country are held at midnight according to their respective time zones.
To be precise, they count down until just before the New Year, considering 12:00 AM on January 1st as the true ‘New Year.’
However.
After the 「World Ranker Announcement Ceremony」.
The world’s time began to move based on the Eastern United States.
An omnipotent being.
The true New Year recognized by the unknown Transcender, 「System」.
As a result, in Korea, they always welcomed the New Year when the sun was up.
Hehe, last year was truly amazing. Our proud hunter Ju Dong-hoon made his name on the high rankers, once again elevating the status of South Korea.
Yes, that’s right! But, because of that, the biggest concern this time is also Ju Dong-hoon, right?
Sighs were heard from all over the world.
‘Ju Dong-hoon.’
A hero among heroes who single-handedly supported against heinous monsters.
A tragic high ranker who was once the president but now a villain who went missing after being hit by a nuclear bomb fired by the villain Klaus, who left his name in history as a terrorist.
