Chapter 587
Squeak
After closing the door and stepping out, Myeong-hu checked the rank quest once more.
Destroy the transcendent being!
[Transcendent Beings: 0 / 1]
Quest Difficulty: SSS
Quest Reward: Grade – Demigod
Quest cannot be canceled
The rank quest Myeong-hu received this time.
‘A demigod, I suppose.’
It was a quest that could grant him Demigod rank.
‘How many steps did I skip?’
Myeonghu hadn’t experienced the ranks between Hero and Demigod, so he couldn’t know. But one thing was certain: he had skipped multiple steps.
‘A transcendent being…’
To obtain the demigod rank, he didn’t need to go anywhere or meet anyone. He had to destroy a transcendent being.
‘Does that mean I have to capture a god?’
The first transcendent being that came to mind was a god. Since gods were also transcendent beings, capturing one would surely grant him demigod rank.
Besides, capturing a god wasn’t that difficult. Just tell Repurem, and he’d introduce the god that needed to be destroyed. No, just waiting around on the battlefield between the Sacred Nation and the Sacred Empire would be enough to encounter a god.
‘Wait a minute.’
Of course, capturing a god wasn’t absolutely necessary. Transcendent beings weren’t limited to just gods. If it were only gods, the term ‘god’ would have been used instead of ‘transcendent being’.
‘Isn’t the Demon King also a transcendent being?’
The Demon King was also a transcendent being. Capturing the Demon King could grant you a demigod rank.
