Chapter 457
CRASH! CRUNCH!
The staff blasted out, and a crater—the trademark of Powerful!—formed on the floor.
Thud thud thud thud
The moment the crater appeared, the surrounding NPCs and players all collapsed to the ground as if on cue.
[The Sacred Empire player ‘Rasu’ has been defeated.]
[Defeated Holy Empire user ‘Mard’.]
[Defeated Holy Empire NPC ‘Kora’.]
.
.
.
As players collapsed to the ground, countless messages appeared. They were kill notifications. Minghu shifted his gaze from the messages to survey his surroundings.
The first thing that came into view were the corpses of NPCs and players within the area. Then, the items presumed to be their drops became visible.
“Collect.”
Seeing the dropped items, Myeong-hu cast Collect.
[You have acquired Steel Boots.]
[You have acquired 19 Gold.]
[You have acquired a Low-Grade Health Potion.]
[You have acquired an Intermediate Mana Potion.]
.
.
As I cast Collect, the dropped items vanished and acquisition messages began appearing.
‘Did I collect them for nothing…’
Myeong-hu thought as he looked at the items listed in the acquisition message. Most of the items being acquired now were junk. It felt like a waste of inventory space.
‘No, wait. A truly amazing item could drop.’
He didn’t know if a truly amazing item would drop, but Myeong-hu thought it might be something extremely useful. He tore his gaze away from the pickup messages and looked at the players outside the range who hadn’t died.
