Back in his room, Akres frowned.
“What should I do?
I couldn’t think of a way to do it.
“Can you think of anything?”
Akureth said to the man sitting across from him, Kakura, the Vice Guildmaster of the Bloody Guild.
“Honestly, the imperial palace is not a playground.”
Kakura opened her mouth to reply, puzzled by Akureth’s words.
“How am I going to go back there and kidnap the princess when I’ve already failed and my guard is up to ridiculous levels?”
The imperial palace of the Aman Empire was not a place where just anyone could enter. To try to kidnap the princess again, when their guard had already been raised to the highest possible level due to one failed attempt, was ridiculous.
“What about using internal helpers?”
Akres said.
“The helpers? Most of them died in that incident, especially the branch manager.”
