Chapter 352
Ming Hu and Liu Zhen were talking as they descended from the mountain. The subject of the conversation was a test of intellect that Liu Chan had seen.
“So you ended up at step 30?”
“Yeah, I could break it, but it would take too long. I’ll have to come back and try it later when I get a chance!”
Unlike Ming Hu, who passed the Test of Strength to level 50, Delay, who took the Test of Intellect, stopped at the level 30 test.
“I’ll have to think about intellect.
Ming Hu thought back to the test of intellect he had heard about from Jian Chen. As far as Ming Hu was concerned, strength was not a very important stat, and if what Jian Chen had said was true, it would take a long time for even the most powerful Ming Hu to pass the test of strength. If agility, stamina, and wisdom were any indication, Ming Hu didn’t want to take the time to improve his strength.
“But are we going to the palace right now?”
Delay asked.
“No, let’s go there first.”
Ming Hu shook his head in response to Delay’s question.
“Secondary test site?”
“Yes, because the knight said he’d be there, and if he’s not, I’ll have to go to the palace like you said.”
Five days later, when Marx told him to come to the second examination center, Ming Hu did as he was told.
“What happened to the king?”
Delay asked again.
“Yeah.”
Raen went to a different place than Ming Hu and Jie Li had gone, to the royal examination grounds. Ming Hu, like Jie Li, was very curious about what had become of Raen.
