Chapter 282
Ming Hu turned away from the message and looked at Hermeto, the red-robed man who had bumped into him.
‘Pickpocket…’
I never expected to be pickpocketed. Every once in a while, someone would post on the message boards that they had been pickpocketed, but it was a strange and funny experience.
“Sorry.”
Hermeto apologized and turned and started to walk away, but Ming Hu had no intention of letting him go.
‘If you’re a pickpocket. You’d know a lot of things, wouldn’t you?
It was Emos, the one that silenced people in an instant. Any pickpocket operating in this commercial district would know something about Emos.
“Wait”
Ming Hu called out as he walked along behind Hermeto, telling Jie to wait a moment.
“Excuse me.”
Stop
Hermeto paused for a moment at the call. But as if he hadn’t heard it, he resumed walking. Hermeto’s pace began to quicken. As Hermeto picked up more and more speed, Ming Hu began to run to catch him.
“Eat!”
As soon as Ming Hu started running, Hermeto started running as well, but Ming Hu has over 60,000 Agility stats. Although he couldn’t close the distance with the high-level demons, he wasn’t moving too slowly to catch the pickpocket NPC. The distance between Ming Hu and Hermeto began to close at a rapid pace.
Sigh
Catching up to Hermeto, Ming Hu reached out and tugged on his robe.
Whip
But Hermeto, perhaps expecting Ming Hu to tug on his robe, quickly took it off and ran away.
