The matter of Seon Woo-jin and Hae Cheong-yeon’s team reassignment ultimately could not be resolved immediately.
It was too sudden an event, given the gravity of the matter, to decide lightly.
Seolpung told them that the squad leaders’ search for the Iron Demon was about to begin, so he asked them to reach a conclusion only after it ended, giving them time.
Then he immediately returned to headquarters to prepare for the search.
After Seolpung left, a silence hung in the waiting room of the Thirteenth Division for a while.

After a moment, Biseyoung spoke up first, lightly.
“Tsk, I told you, people shouldn’t be too outstanding. If you stand out, you’re bound to get shot down. Who told you to be so outstanding, you brat?”
It was a playful remark, full of regret.
At that, faint smiles touched the lips of the previously somber team members.
Cheon Ju-eun smiled as if she too felt disappointed, responding to Bi Sa-young’s words.
“That’s right. Why are both of them so exceptional that they can’t even be together? It’s disappointing.”
Seon Woo-jin chuckled softly in reply.
“This is why I tried to keep my brilliance hidden from the world, but I’ve been found out. Ugh, is this why absolute beings are inevitably lonely?”
Bisaeng shot back at Seonwoojin’s playful banter with a look of utter exasperation.
