Chapter 78: Guanyin Field-1
“Master, we’ll soon arrive at the Guanyin Hall.”
The youngest elder of the Amita Sect, Gyeoljin Sae-tae, merely nodded once at the words of his disciple, Jeonghye.
Knowing her mood was far from pleasant, Jeonghye, the most senior among the ten disciples included in the current investigation team, cautiously asked again.
“Um, Master. What shall we do now?”
Then Gyeoljin looked at Jeonghye with a sharp gaze and retorted.
“What do you mean, ‘how’? What exactly are you asking about? When visiting an external sect, isn’t it only proper etiquette to begin with a respectful greeting?”
Jeonghye, flustered by his words, asked again.
“But… but what if that place is actually the hideout of the Blood Cultists who kidnapped the real Jeongin’s residence? If that’s the case…”
They had come to investigate that location to verify the contents of the letter Jeongyeon had sent regarding the Guanyin Hall.
So formally greeting them and entering that place was an order Jeonghye simply couldn’t comprehend.
But at Jeonghye’s counterquestion, Gyeoljin’s expression darkened as he shouted.
“Have you even confirmed that place is the Blood Sect’s lair?! To suspect Guanyin Hall, our long-standing ally, based on unconfirmed facts! How can you call yourself a disciple of the Great Ami?!”
“But Master, we’re investigating them right now…”
“Enough! You still don’t realize your mistake and keep talking! When we return to headquarters, I’ll report this to the Grand Master and have him put you under house arrest for a month!”
