Chapter 203: Inparang-3
After destroying the Hapsan Sect Nanning Branch and hiding the items we had taken in a suitable location, we headed from there toward the forest located to the north.
Unfortunately, the Hapsan Sect Nanning branch chief also didn’t know much about Inparang, the successor of Haenam-ga.
He had only said that he had received a warrant for arrest from the main faction of the Summation Sect and had been ordered to kill him on sight as he would soon be passing through this area.
He also reported that warriors lying in ambush in the northern woods had spotted and successfully attacked the man, and that they were now in pursuit.
So we planned to go there and meet this man named Inparang ourselves.
“Sakwol!”
As we entered the forest and called out the name of the Black Tiger, Sakwol, loudly, he seemed to have been nearby, for he ran across the treetops and joined us.
Sakwol was hiding in the forest as we entered Nanning.
After reuniting with Sakwol, we now raced like the wind toward the northern forest.
Mid-run, Brother Seolpung shouted at me.
“Jin, brother! Do you have any idea what’s going on?!”
Though I had only recently heard from the Nanning branch chief, I could infer quite a lot from what he said.
I shared the thoughts I had organized in my mind with my brothers.
“First off, it seems the heir to the Haenam family—one of those families that went missing over a decade ago—was still alive! And now he’s reemerged into the martial world, with the Hapsan Sect trying to kill him! But why would the Hapsan Sect go to such lengths?! They don’t even have direct ties to the Haenam faction!”
