She understood what his sudden appearance here signified.
Her voice trembling, she asked the Blood Demon.
“Father… Could it be…?”
Blood Demon slowly exhaled a sigh, avoiding her eyes as she replied.
“Your father was a warrior worthy of nothing but respect. I deeply regret having to deliver this news to you, young lady.”

Hae Cheong-yeon’s legs gave way beneath her, and she collapsed to the ground without realizing it.
