Chapter 268 < Give Advice - 'Teacher and Disciple' Arc (13) >
“Well, if you survive here, that is.”
The moment those words were spoken, the ‘Chronos’ Adept’s expression twisted fiercely.
The Adept immediately kicks off the ground and charges forward.
A greatsword swung with the power of time acceleration!
LYu parried the greatsword, which was cleaving through the air, by immediately swinging her military knife in her right hand.
Clang-!
The sword and knife bounced off each other with a metallic sound.
However, unlike the Adept, who couldn’t use time rewind, LYu could.
Her deflected hand disappeared, naturally returning to the position before she swung the knife.
A following thrust!
Thwack!
“Kugh!”
The Adept, deeply cut from his forearm to his shoulder, let out a rough scream.
As a large wound was carved into him, his grip seemed to loosen, and the sword he was holding fell powerlessly to the ground.
Before it could even touch the ground, LYu moved.
Stepping forward and reversing the grip on the military knife in her left hand, she stabbed down!
Stab!
“Kuaagh!”
The Adept, his thigh pierced, screamed again.
LYu, almost embracing him, strode towards him and swung the military knife in her right hand.
The target was his defenselessly exposed neck.
Easily suppressing the Adept’s belated attempt to resist with time deceleration, the blade of the military knife dug into the Adept’s neck.
Thwack!
His neck was severed with a gruesome sound of slicing meat.
