Chapter 204 < Psychic Wars - All-Star Match (3) >
The All-Star Match isn’t just for Korea.
You could tell that just from the voting.
Voting takes place in the eight countries with their own Psychic Wars league: Korea, China, Japan, the United States, France, the United Kingdom, Germany, and Taiwan. In other words, eight All-Star teams would be participating in this year’s All-Star Match.
Naturally, they were all preparing for the All-Star Match in their own way.
The All-Star Match is nominally a festival for many fans to enjoy.
But the fact that they are the most popular players in the country also means that they are the most skilled players in that league.
As long as they form a team and participate, a certain amount of competitive spirit is bound to arise.
‘Which country’s players are the best?’
The All-Star Match was also a measure of that, however vague.
No matter how much they say it’s an event match, how many people can think of it that way?
It’s only natural for fans to want their country’s players to be the best, and it’s only natural for players to work hard to repay them.
And that was also true for the coaches who joined the All-Star team.
“What are the results of the other All-Star teams’ power analysis?”
“They’re generally at the same level as last year. There hasn’t been any dramatic improvement.”
“In other words, there hasn’t been any decline either.”
“Damn it. Then that means those four from Korea are coming out again? Can’t at least one of them be injured and drop out?”
